PHUKET FANTASEA
We went to the Phuket Fantasea show - very well done - no cameras allowed inside the show so I took a few outside

He had to do it didn't he!! There was about 6 of them all posing for photos - after the shot, the one on the right said in a masculine voice 'you pay me mister?' - Mark gave them a whole 50baht (about $1.50aud) ..!!

WALKING STREET PHUKET
...in the rain!! It was raining so hard the day we were on Phi Phi (in total sunshine), that the gutters all filled up and people were sandbagging their shop fronts. Out we went in the rain to explore Walking Street!

KHAI NAI ISLAND
Our last stop and we couldn't believe how many umbrellas and beach chairs were set up - Thai people have lease on this spot and they rent out the chairs for 1.50Baht each and it includes someone to watch over your stuff while you swim or snorkel. Mind boggling!!

PHI PHI ISLAND
View of Phi Phi island from our speedboat - 4000 people died in the Tsunami and 2000 people unaccounted for. Easy to imagine because of the valley inbetween these 2 mountains and quite shallow water up to the beach. It was quite moving to think of these innocent Thai people and tourist who perished here.

CHECK OUT THE PROPELLOR
These guys have huge V6 engines on their longboats and their propellors are stuck out on a long shaft. They were out here at these islands together with the 4 engined speedboats and the tourist launches.
