BACK TO KATHMANDU

We flew via Yeti Airlines (yes I nearly had a fit when I saw the name of it) It was hilarious but we had a couple of hours delay getting on this flight. Everything here in Nepal goes slowly even the airline people. There is nothing like the security checks that happen in Australia - here there is a curtained room for women and another one for men for security checks, they pat you down check everything you are carrying and then off we went to stand on the apron and wait to board the plane. Everyone stands around outside the terminal airside. Our aircraft was a piper cheroke 17 seater and 1 hostess who handed out cotton wool for your ears and a lolly to suck. We flew low over the landscape and it was only 25 minute flight and a life experience.
