Our travelling companions

Temple Street night markets found us wandering around the thousands of market stalls selling things from fresh food to designer jeans and t-shirts.  We resisted and I bought a pair of jeans for less than $20 including adjustments that they did on the spot. We are waiting until we go to China to do a bit of serious spending!!

We had dinner at a local eatery where we dined on freshly cooked cuttlefish and succulent pork and veges and 1 litre of ice cold Heinekin for $1.50 and Anchor for $1 from Singapore  (the food was wriggling on a table beside us)
