COOKING SCHOOL

Well what can I say - Marg,Mark and I went to a Chinese Cooking School in a mud brick house for the afternoon - school originally started by an Aussie called Pam who still lives and works there. Starting with market shopping, the instructor showed us the various herbs and spices and fresh veges (check the first picture out!!). We spent the next 3 hours cooking frantically and successfully cooked 4 amazing dishes including pork and mint dumplings, spicy bokchoy, steamed chicken with chinese dates, and pork and stirfry veges. We had a huge time and loved every minute. It was fast and furious but heaps of fun - washed the meal down with a couple of 1 litre Ice cold beers.
