LAST DAY IN YANGSHUO

Well it's our last day here in 'Party Town' - we have enjoyed every minute of it. The streets are bustling and the people are wonderful. They carry anything they can fit on the back of their bikes. Their trucks are weird and look like a cross between a postmans bike and an old fashioned massey ferguson tractor. The market stalls are so colourful and they want to sell you everything they have - serious bartering is considered quite normal. The Tibetan silver jewellry is lovely and so hard to resist. A lovely Tibetan bracelet costs $10 yuan so of course I have a couple now - I can't resist!! Marg is postcard lady - she bartered the poor locals down to a miserly $5 Yuan (less than $1 Aus) for 10 postcards.
