NO PHOTOS THIS TIME

No photos for this blog - it takes about 10 minutes to download a photo. I think Noah must have had this computer on his ark!!.  The others have gone to cash some money and buy supplies for the bus and plane trip to Chengdu (Pandas). 

The signs are funny here- "open til we close" is on the bar down the road!!

We are having a Sichuan banquet dinner tonight and then the panda centre in the morning.. The next night we view a Sichuan cultural show then off to Chongquing to meet Brian Hennessy from Mackay and his lady who now live in Chongquing.  That night we board our boat to sail down the Yangzi for the next 3 days.   We are looking forward to the 3 gorges.  We then go to Xian for 2 days then fly to Hangzhou for a couple of days.  Then off to Shanghai for 2 days and then a soft sleeper train again to Beijing where we will catch up with Janet and Warren Brooks for a few days relaxing in Beijing  (?? - we don't know how to do that we are so active here - I've never walked so much in my whole life) before heading off on our Tibetian journey.

Thanks to my gorgous son Mark for setting up this blog for me in the first place. It is so easy to use. If I could only email all my photos to include on this site (it takes too long to do this) I have about 500 photos so far. Pete says I could photograph anything from a banana to a gondola!! Because I took photos in the markets and the streets, he says it is similar to a tourist coming to Australia and going into a fruit shop or a pet shop and taking pictures of the apples or puppies there!!
