FLIGHT FROM LHASA TO KATHMANDU IN NEPAL

Well this is as close as we are ever going to be to Mount Everest 8,848metres - what a spine chilling sight. I was a bit teary as we flew over the top of it in our Air China flight from Lhasa - it was awe inspiring to think of the many people who had tried to climb and had to be rescued because of frost bite and to remind ourselves of our famous Sir Edmund Hilary and his son Peter Hilary who have succeeded in climbing to the top of this amazing mountain.
