FAREWELL TO NEPAL

amaste (greetings in nepalese)
Our dear friend Puskar met us at Dwarikas Hotel and had his driver take us to the airport - sad farwells all around made sad faces on all of us. Incredible memories of Nepal will always be with us. Of course our flight was delayed for an hour which gave us a chance to catch up with a few friendly faces from our time at Chitwan Lodge - Dennis and Marsha travelling home to the United States. Our flight to Nepal was uneventful if you could call it that - a nice gentleman beside me with rotten breath and his wife across the aisle with a face mask on and the lady in front of us having a panic attack and needing oxygen.
Finally we are here at Bangkok airport waiting the mandatory 6 hours to check in for the last leg of our journey to Sydney. So what do we do but have a wonderful Thai Foot Massage with reflexology points hurting as we have been on those feet for the past 6 weeks. Such luxury - what cream did they use - Tiger Balm the same stuff that we were being harrassed to buy from the markets in Nepal, Tibet and China. Our feet feel luxurious and relaxed so we are now having a hot cup of tea and then it's off to Sydney.

When we get home a few more photos will be posted - thanks for keeping in touch with us as we trekked through China, Tibet and Nepal - it has been an amazing journey for us and something we will remember for quite some time......Janice and Mark, Marg and Peter xxx
