WOW!!!!!!!!!

I have no photos for this experience but you will never ever guess what we fearless adventurers did???
Marg, Pete and I were sitting at Fishtail lodge one afternoon having a few drinks at sunset (Mark had a bad headcold and was in bed) and we saw some paragliders hovering over the Himilayan mountains in front of us. From our lodge we had the most breathtaking view of these mountains (see photo). We said 'we can do that' and next day with the help of Puskar who also did this with us, I was standing on the top of a mountain and was being strapped into a harness by the most gorgous French/Swiss 27year old pilot who said ' now you are in charge here and what you have to do is start running when I count from 3 to 1 and don't stop running until you run out of earth under your feet' - I started feeling fear rising in my body and on the count of 3-2-1 my little legs started running like crazy until there was nothing to run on and that's when I looked down and I was hovering above the earth 3,400 metres above the earth with the snow capped Himilayan mountains next to us and the locals tending their crops and cows beneath us. I can't tell you how that felt. It is something I have always wanted to do and now I have done it. Peter Mark, Marg and I couldn't get the smile off our faces for days after. Puskar had a grin from ear to ear and is still grinning - he said he would include this into the next Intrepid trips as an optional extra. What a mind blowing experience and one I would do time and time again if I ever get the chance!!
